From routine assays to innovative biomarkers, most high performing labs need easy to use and cost effective reagents. The cobas 6000 analyzer series delivers by offering liquid ready-to-use reagents based on  a unique reagent concept.

  • Liquid ready-to-use cobas c and cobas e packs (95 percent of total assay portfolio) eliminate error involved with human mixing of reagents
  • “On the fly” loading of chemistry reagents during operation
  • Standardized reagents across the cobas family of analyzers
  • Economic usage with high stabilities and convenient kit sizes. Long on-board stability (OBS) of cobas reagents minimizes wasted tests. Immunoassays have an OBS of 56 days and chemistries have  OBS of 67 days on average

  • State-of-the-art immunoassay tests using electrochemiluminscence (ECL) technology offers a broad measuring range and low end sensitivity (i.e. HCG+β: 0.10 – 10,000 mIU/mL), virtually eliminating the need for dilutions and repeat testing
  • Standardized test results between all testing sites using cobas family of analyzers allow for greater consistency in physician result interpretation
